Releul termic se utilizeaza impreuna cu contactorul si protejeaza consumatorul impotriva suprasarcinii. Intensitatea curentului se alege in functie de puterea consumatorului.<\/li><li>Se asambleaza impreuna cu contactoarele si se conecteaza la circuitul de comanda al motorului. Principiul de functionare este bazat pe lamele bimetalice, care functioneaza in regim de termostat.<\/li><li>Releul termic se alege astfel incat curentul reglat sa fie mai mic decat curentul nominal al contactorului.<\/li><li>Releul termic nu va declansa la pornirea motorului, chiar daca curentul creste cu de aproximativ 6 ori valoarea curentului nominal.<\/li><li>Selectarea unui reglaj potrivit avertizeaza asupra functionarii motorului la conditii de temperatura nefavorabile si garanteaza functionarea maximal stabila, de asemenea ridica eficienta si prelungeste termenul de exploatare a motorului.<br \/>Functii:<br \/>&#8211; deconectarea consumatorilor la suprasarcina;<br \/>&#8211; realizarea sistemelor de comanda a consumatorilor;<br \/>&#8211; se foloseste ca si componenta operativa in tablouri, pentru comanda motoarelor asincrone;<br \/>&#8211; coeficient de stabilitate a caracteristicilor de curent
